The spring silkworm cocoon harvest is fruitful

In Yilong County Tonggu Township, Bombyx modern sericulture industrial park has 10,000 mu of modern sericulture base. This year, the first batch of spring silkworm cocoon collection work began on May 30. As of now the acquisition is nearing the end, the second batch of spring silkworms in early June will soon begin to acquire.

Farmer Zhou Yongming said that he is the first season of sericulture, his harvest is 1000kg, the fruitful harvest encourages him to upskill the silkworm farming technique and expand the scale. It has the potential to generate attractive income.
